IGE Consulting are a multi-disciplinary team of Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Engineers based in the north west of England and operating across the UK.

Our services include the independent verification of a range of ground gas protection systems within residential, commercial and industrial developments utilising visual & pick, air lancing and integrity testing methods.

Our experienced verifiers promote a high standard of installation and verification. This includes relevant training such as the CL:AIRE Verification of Gas Protection Systems course and working towards qualifications including the Gas Protection Verification Accreditation Scheme. IGE’s senior verifier James Harley recently gained SGPV accreditation and leads the training and development of junior verifiers.

IGE Consulting are involved in every aspect of the protection of end users from the dangers of ground gas – from developing an initial ground gas risk assessment, utilising appropriate techniques to quantify the risk, through to designing and subsequently verifying adequate protection measures.
