Construction Site Validation Services.(CSVS) was established in late 2023 and began trading in early 2024
headed by Paul Speakman, a Chartered Civil Engineer with 30 years plus experience in Civil Engineering. CSVS aim to
deliver Verification of Ground Gas protection Systems in a collaborative and efficient manner. Paul Speakman is
the sole employee and brings his qualifications, experience and an in-depth understanding of development to the
site.
Establishing CSVS was a change of career path, and I have undertaken significant training to gain a place on the SGPVS
register (see the CLA:IRE GPVS website). I have also trained as an Assessor for the CiTB, assessing the NVQ Level 2 in
the Installation of Ground Gas membranes.
CSVS offers verification of ground gas protection systems from the Verification Plan, Site Inspections, through to the
Completion Reports and handover. I believe in a “can-do” attitude to the verification and will provide guidance
and advice to developers and trades (where appropriate) to ensure the membrane and ventilation systems are
fit for purpose. CSVS offer tracer gas integrity testing and retrospective gas testing on completed dwellings.
I am based in Newton le Willows. (midway between Liverpool and Manchester). CSVS covers the North West,
Midlands and Yorkshire, plus Cumbria, etc. Other wider areas can be agreed.
