This presentation is an introduction into current practice in regards Radon protection for new house construction from large developments to the single house small builder projects.

The presentation will cover the construction strategy from inception to the project completion

Speaker bio

Paul has been in construction for over 30 years. Paul has a BSc Hons in Construction Management. Paul is a director of GeoShield a verification company which has been verifying gas remediation systems for 6 years. Paul is an assessor for NVQ 2 gas installers and the NVQ 4 in verification of ground gas protection systems. Paul assisted on creating the NVQ 4 through to its launch. In 2018

Paul was a founder member in creating the British Verification Council which Paul currently is Chairman. Paul also has his CSSW qualification (Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing) which is especially relevant in today’s verification strategy. Paul’s combination of experience in construction and ground gas strategy has allowed him to create quality assurance programs in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
